Project Catalyst Extends Microsoft Project's Capabilities

Project Catalyst Desktop (Standard) is the single user version of the product. Project Catalyst Professional allows you to work with Project Server and Windows SharePoint Server using Catalyst Server. Catalyst Server extends the capabilities of Project Server and Windows SharePoint to allow teams to work on project methodologies and shared documents.


 

 

   6D Project Catalyst Desktop - Standard
Ideal for consultants and small teams. Integrated inside Microsoft Office Project - Standard and Professional. Allows you to build, author, customize, assemble, and improve all methodology content including task descriptions, completion guidelines, detailed procedures, roles & responsibilities as well as documents – examples and templates.
 
  6D Project Catalyst EPM - Suite
Ideal for all organizations using Microsoft Office Project EPM/Server. All components of the product are directly integrated inside the Microsoft products - Professional, PWA and Server - making these products easy to use and administer. If you are looking at improving the project management and process maturity of your organization, 6D Project Catalyst EPM Suite will accelerate and manage your organization's change and maturity process.
 
  6D Solutions Framework Methodologies
These methodologies consist of an extensive knowledgebase of best practices that can give organizations a jump start in their efforts to build and manage their own Process Asset Library. These methods take into account many of the current as well as evolving industry standards and guidelines such as Project Management Institute’s PMBOK® Guide, Software Engineering Institute’s CMMI as well as guidelines contained in PRINCE2. Specific methods are available that cover the full range of SDLCs, Project Management as well as Six Sigma.
